Ushahidi Liberia is a project of Ushahidi, the non-profit tech company that develops free and open source software for information collection, visualization and interactive mapping.
What does Ushahidi Liberia do?
Ushahidi Liberia provides free customized mapping technology and ongoing tech support to humanitarian and development actors tracking conflict, peacebuilding and the 2011 electoral process in Liberia. By offering individual maps for partner organizations and aggregated public maps on issues of national concern, Ushahidi Liberia aims to connect people across civil society, government and the media using a common platform for information sharing.

Ushahidi Liberia’s office is located on 20th Street & Payne Avenue in the Sinkor area of Monrovia, Liberia. Look for the tall yellow building on the corner of Payne Avenue, next to the JFK Hospital; our office and lab are located on the top floor of the yellow building, Suite #9. Ushahidi Liberia is no longer customizing individual instances for each partner; instead, interested organizations working within these thematic areas listed above are given access to and their own page on the shared instances (maps) created to map these issues.
